Wow! This App is really really awesome and extremely well designed. This is just what I needed to take my drumming skills to the next level! Gotta love it!!!

After having tried the Lite version, I had to get the full one. Now I can easily practice my rudiments easily... Thanks ! This app has everything that the other ones are missing: really slow speeds available to watch what the hands are supposed to be doing (very useful on those more complicated rudiments), a countdown to start in sync with the app, an audible metronome, very easy to navigate, no endless menus or page flipping, and most important to me: a visual animation of the sticks! User friendly interface, simple yet efficient, nice graphics.

This is the perfect app for anyone learning or trying to improve. Any teacher will tell you to practice your Rudiments to improve, this is the app to help you. Easy to use and the snare and sticks help you stay on track and get back on track when you make a mistake.

as a musician and teacher, I find this app to be an excellent aid to a fuller understanding of the vocabulary of drum playing for any student of the drums. a great combination of seeing,hearing and note reading. great job!!

I think this app is great. For me, just practicing rudiments on my pad can be tedious. Now, I can throw in my headphones and play along. I love the running man update, so now I can keep playing without having to put my sticks and change the tempo. Love it..cant wait to see future updates.

Really helps you learn the rudiments. The running man part speeds it up after a few times through. Great app.

Very good training tool could practice app improves your chops!!! Worth 3 dollars

I started using the app right away with my students. We are enjoying it very much. They started playing the assigned rudiments with more control, accuracy and speed. They play along with me during the lesson but now they can have the app the rest of the week. Im pushing for them to purchase it! Suggestions and corrections... 1. The metronome is placed on the wrong beat with all the drag rudiments. It drops the downbeat on the first note of the drag. For instance with the right drag (LLR) the metronome falls on the first L and should fall on the RH quarter note downbeat. The LL are the grace notes before the downbeat. 2. Would it be possible to include variations or inversions? I.E. Rolls in 6/8 & 4/4. Rolls starting on and off the beat (starting on 1, e, +,a). Six Stroke Roll subdivided with 16th note triplets. Great start!!! Cant wait for updates and to work with it again with my students!!!

This app is great, and it has a great concept.... buuuuut.. It definitely needs an update! It lacks on precision when it comes to timing on faster bpm. And it can use plenty of other updates like changing when the rudiment starts in the count, being able to change time signatures etc.

If you are serious about drumming, you need to master the rudiments. And Rudidrum helps you do just that, learn and master the drum rudiments. So if you are serious about becoming a real drummer, just buy the app, get busy, get better. If you are looking for a game, this is not it. There are plenty of drum and music games in the App Store. This is a serious training tool for real drummers of all levels. Get the app, your practice pad, and sticks. Use it every day as part of your practice routine, you will see the results on the kit in no time. Not only you will learn and master the rudiments, your finger control will improve as well. This app has no sound and I tried Every thing yo make it work I wants money returned to my account

This app is potentially great except that it doesnt keep steady timing. The metronome stays steady but the drum beats occasionally vary (sometimes more than others). I too am a professional drum teacher and would in no way use this app for myself, for lessons or encourage my students to use something that cant keep steady time. Fix it and Ill be happy to use and promote it. (Ill look for updates)

A help button would be nice or about me. I have no idea what the button with the 2 in a bullseye is for. And I would like if I could choose the rudiment from a menu. Not have to go through each one. But so far its the best Iv seen in the App Store

I never really write reviews on aps but I felt compelled to write about this one. On a whim I bought a set of electronic drums and decided to teach myself how to play. (Great stress relief) I have spent a rather large chunk of change on online lesson packs with hours of lesson videos and after about 10 minutes of using this app, I feel like this is the best couple of bucks I could have possibly spent. Its simple and to the point and I like how it slowly speeds up so as a beginner, I can easily tell what I need to work on. My online lesson videos take forever and the guy goes from slow to warp speed and I never catch up and get frustrated. With this, I dont have to stop and load the next video when I want to try a new rudiment, and I can go at my own pace. I do wish I didnt have to scroll through each rudiment if I want to jump around, but its still better then waiting for a video to load. Well worth it
